Ignacio Springs Bed & Breakfast Resort is a series of carefully placed individual accommodations in the heart of the palmera on the Rio San Ignacio. The majority of our rooms are Yurts, based on the Mongolian style accommodations used by the nomadic people to move around the desert with their herds in order to keep them in area where they had food. There is something very special about the energy of a circle and we are happy we chose Pacific Yurts as our supplier. We do have some more traditional Mexican type constructed buildings as well if you prefer.

The Canadiense Yurt
This Yurt offers comfortable, flexible sleeping arrangements ideal for groups and families, featuring three queen beds and an optional futon available upon request. Refresh in your private bathroom with a sink and spacious shower, and stay comfortable with reliable air conditioning. For added convenience, the yurt is stocked with coffee and tea, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Step outside to relax on your private patio and take in the peaceful surroundings. If you would like the futon made up as a bed, please let us know in advance so we can have it prepared before your arrival.
Reina de África Yurt
A spacious, Africa‑themed yurt—features a king and a queen bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. The private patio overlooks the river and sits just steps from the main beach entrance, offering easy access to the shoreline. The attached bathroom includes a generous shower and a single sink. Comfort amenities include air conditioning, coffee and tea supplies, a microwave, a fridge and comfortable seating making this yurt a guest favourite.
Vista del Rio Yurt
This riverfront yurt offers a comfortable Queen bed and an optional futon for extra guests. Located just steps from the main beach entrance, the patio provides peaceful river views. The bathroom features a sink and a spacious shower. For your convenience the yurt includes air conditioning, a fridge, coffee and tea.
Please let us know before arrival if you require the futon.
Roberts Reef Yurt
A favourite among guests, Roberts Reef Yurt offers a cosy retreat built for comfort and quiet. Inside, a plush queen bed invites restful nights, while a spacious, shaded patio becomes your go-to spot for morning coffee or an evening unwind. The attached bathroom is practical and roomy, featuring a sink and a large shower for easy freshening up.
Thoughtful amenities make your stay effortless: air conditioning keeps the space cool, and the room includes coffee, tea, a fridge and a microwave. Simple, comfortable and inviting, Roberts Reef is a peaceful hideaway where you can relax and recharge.
Casa Teresita Yurt
— Sleeps: King-size bed, Queen-size bed, plus a separate room off the bathroom with a Double bed (separate entrance). Bathroom: Attached, with two sinks and a large shower for added comfort. Amenities: Air conditioning, coffee and tea provisions, microwave, fridge, and a private patio. Extra room policy: The separate room may incur a fee if used when only two or fewer guests occupy the yurt, or if used for children aged six and under.
Howard Johnson Yurt
This Yurt is a guest favourite. Comfortably appointed with a king bed, it features an attached bathroom with a sink and a spacious walk‑in shower. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, a microwave and a fridge. A private patio completes the space, offering a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
China Wall Yurt
Designated Scent and Pet-Free Yurt
One of our most luxurious yurts, located at the corner of the property for extra privacy. A spacious patio overlooks the river and provides direct access to our semi-private beach area. The interior features a plush king bed and two comfortable chairs for relaxation. Climate control is provided by air conditioning. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee and tea provisions are included for convenience. The large bathroom includes a generous shower.

The Lily Pad Yurt

Casita Muralla
This Casita is built into the protective wall constructed to shield the property from hurricane floods, giving it a distinctive, fortified feel. It features a small sitting room and a spacious bedroom furnished with two queen beds and a day bed, accommodating families or small groups comfortably.
The attached bathroom includes a large shower and a single sink. Amenities include air conditioning, a coffee and tea station, a fridge, and a private patio for outdoor relaxation.
